Platinum Games has developed games for many genres, but they are best known for their high-octane action games – such as Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and The Wonderful 101.

The original Granblue Fantasy was a traditional single player turn-based RPG released on mobile devices in Japan only back in 2014. Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link, in contrast, is going to be an Action RPG with a focus on both single and multi-player on a large scale.

While the first Granblue Fantasy was only on mobile devices, its sequel will apparently be branching out to different systems. The platforms that the game will be available for have not yet been announced, but some hints were dropped that there may be a PC version.
