Eagle-eyed fans have recently spotted what could be confirmation of an impending release by way of a Canadian PS5 advertisement seen on YouTube. First reported on by GTPlanet (by way of PlayStation Lifestyle), the advertisement, which is written in French, says that Gran Turismo 7 could release in “the first half of 2021.”

There’s been no official word from Sony or Polyphony if the text in the ad is confirmation of a definitive release window or potentially “human error,” as Sony said was the case surrounding the Demon’s Souls remake potentially coming to PC.
Text at the end of the official Demon’s Souls gameplay video shown during September’s PlayStation Showcase read “Also available on PC,” but the video containing the wording was quickly removed. Sony later confirmed that the game wouldn’t be coming to the platform after all.
Whether Gran Turismo 7 is on the immediate horizon or not, we do know that it’s eventually coming to the PlayStation 5. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for further updates on Gran Turismo 7 as they happen, with an official confirmation hopefully coming sooner rather than later.
